The horror

The chaos that met Jenna’s eyes was horrifying. Blood pooling on the carpet, splashes of crimson on the wall, and two whimpering bodies tangled together.

Jenna ran to her daughter, Grace, who was feebly trying to crawl to her mother. The panicked woman picked up her four-year-old blonde baby, cradling the small form to her chest.

In a rush, Jenna checked Grace for injuries. Shaking, the woman lifted the little girl’s arm, seeing small scratches and shallow bite marks on the pale flesh. She looked at her daughter’s face, puzzled by the minor nature of the injuries.

Grace broke into a sadistic grin and a dark laugh bubbled from her chest. The little blonde child squirmed in her mother’s arms, revealing a large sliver of glass in her hand. Jenna’s shock at seeing her daughter holding the crystal shard held her long enough for Grace to slide the razor sharp piece into her mother’s neck.

Blood spurted from the wound. Grace giggled again and held on tightly to her mother as Jenna tried to push the girl from her arms. The severed artery pumped more blood as Jenna fought, only slowing when the injured woman finally collapsed on top of the dog’s body.

Hours later, Aiden, Grace’s father entered the girl’s bedroom, and what he saw horrified him:

Blood pooling on the carpet, splashes of crimson on the walls, and his daughter feebly trying to crawl to him from between the bodies of his wife and his German Shepherd.
